Key Achievements

  • Provided day-to-day management for a team of full-time support professionals across seven continents for an international reinsurance organization.
  • Managed help-desk ticketing systems, including the production and distribution of system metrics.
  • Performed an in-place migration of key server and email systems with Active Directory.
  • Implemented secure remote access solutions, VPNs, firewalls, and mobile clients.
  • Provided enterprise email migration, upgrades, and support.
  • Authored computer usage policies, documented systems and procedures, and implemented controls to ensure the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of critical business information.
  • Managed a firm-wide migration to a unified Windows operating system.
  • Directed an organization-wide redesign and revamp of the primary web presence, increasing web traffic from an average of 3,000 to 300,000 hits per day.
  • Piloted an early-release/rapid deployment of Microsoft Windows to 400 users.
  • Standardized desktop & server environments under MS Windows, realizing significant cost savings.
  • Earned CISSP designation in October 2001, maintained through 2007.
  • Certified Peer Visitor, Amputee Coalition of America, 2019-Present.
